Just a Reminder that it's still November. Honestly.

In the last 48 hours I've seen three houses decorated for Christmas and with their Christmas trees up.

Not commercial premises you understand (ie shops where "Christmas" seems to begin in late August) but ordinary, domestic houses. In November.

Good grief!

    Whatever makes people happy. When I was a lad we put our decorations up on the 24th and never before.

    I agree that decorations should not go up before the first Sunday in Advent, which is Sunday next, 28 Nov., and ideally not before Christmas Eve, which I believe is the Cornish tradition.
